What Causes Fibromyalgia?
While the certain cause of “FMS” remains a mystery, there are many intriguing theories on what brings on the distinctive patterns of illness and pain known as fibromyalgia.
If you have been searching for the answer to what causes FMS and it’s basic group of symptoms, I’m certain it has not been without a degree of frustration and anxiety.
There appears to be a broad spectrum of beliefs and disbeliefs associated with this pervasive medical condition. From everything that we have researched and studied we believe that an overloaded immune system malfunctions.
So many factors can affect the immune system which is why Fibromyalgia is so difficult to diagnose. Immune system overload can be caused by any and/or all of the following:
- Genetic makeup
- Allergies
- Sensitivities
- Hormonal Imbalance
- Psychological instabilities
- Electromagnetic energy fields
- Radiation
- Pollution
- Smoking
- Drugs
- Infections
- Poor diet
- Emotional stress
- Traumatic event(s)
- Injuries
- Illnesses
Some studies indicate that women that suffer from rheumatoid arthritis or lupus often develop fibromyalgia as well.
It is estimated that 5 million people in the United States suffer from fibromyalgia. About 80% of patients are women.
While fibromyalgia can occur at any age, the highest incidence occurs among women 20 to 40 years of age.
Far Infrared Rays are very helpful in reducing Fibromyalgia inflammation and relieving your pain.

The stimulation of the tiny capillaries and veins in your body dilate the cells and allow fresh oxygenated blood containing vital nutrients to reach afflicted areas. Swelling is reduced, accumulated toxins are released, and the healing process is promoted.
Depending on the severity of your condition and how long you have been experiencing symptoms, it may take a bit longer to feel the benefits of natural FIR therapy.
Some researchers believe it’s caused by previous physical or sexual abuse, changes in the weather, over-exertion, cold or damp environments, stress, anxiety, depression, and central-nervous-system dysfunction.
Still others feel it may be caused by infections, like a virus or bacteria. While some of the latest findings reveal a relationship between poor protein digestion, nutritive failure and poor cellular health.
Whatever the cause, fibromyalgia is most likely associated with changes in micro-circulation resulting in poor muscle metabolism.

The slowing of your micro-circulation can have compounding effects on muscle metabolism.
The cells of your body need to receive fresh nutrients and oxygen as well as a means of flushing out toxins and waste byproducts.
